09/17/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued issues today, Sturgeon broke a 4 in line on SW area of Tucson which blocked access to the alley. Randy Emersol 429-4967, business owner at 2424 E Broadway complained that he did not have access to his back lot or front due to traffic elements. I explained to him that he did have access, he stated when traveling westbound. Which is the case, he also complained about the broken water line. I informed him that this is not a everday issue and apoligized. I also informed David Stiffey, Adan Gomez, Mike Graham, Gloria and Miss Diana.
09/04/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued Foreman adrian is on vacation, contractor pulling new lines from Olsen to Tucson. Traffic elements set up in one lane only
08/29/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued All new poles are installed on South side of Broadway, from Olsen to Tucson Blvd. I asked contractor if he could work in one lane for the next section of work. Adrian from Sturgeon will only use one lane instead of shifting to two lanes when they pull overhead wire.This should help with traffic. Two lane set up will begin again in roughly two weeks when the process moves to Tucson to Country club
08/23/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued Sidewalk repair discussed and starting in areas on South side of Broadway. All repairs will be perm/temp for ADA access.
08/20/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued Sturgeon added three poles today to the south side of Broadway. Called Mike Graham and discussed traffic issues., he wants to know why lanes are closed when no equipment is in them. I explained to Mike that trucks are in and out drilling, installing and storing large electric poles. He understood but said there are a lot of complaints.
08/19/2019 TDOT-EXCAV GENERAL INSPECTION Continued Got approval for a 21 hour closure. Barricades need to be down between 3:30 pm and 7:00. This will help expediate work.
