A) Request to install a new pole sign at a commercial premise with less than 225' of street frontage (UDC 7A.10.2.C.2.a.). B) Requested increase for the height of a freestanding pole sign, from 12 feet maximum height to a height of 22 feet (UDC.7A.10.2.C.2.a.1.). C) Request to exceed maximum square footage sign area of a pole sign at 72 square feet, and install a cabinetry system comprised of 100 square feet area (UDC 7A.10.2.C.2.a.). 2) SSDO application was also received with this sign permit submittal. Package was submitted to SDRC review process 8/16/19 for Singular Sign Design Option (SSDO). 3) Only upon completion and potential approval or approval with conditions of the SSDO would the sign permit review continue. Sign permit plan check fees still apply at this time for the first review. SSDO submittal fees are separate. Note that engineering will be required to be reviewed.
