12/17/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved I RECEIVED A CALL FROM APS CONCERNING THE UNIT BEING REOCCUPIED AFTER BEING CONDEMNED. I TRIED CONTACTING APS BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER. I DID LEAVE A MESSAGE.
PRIOR TO THE APS CALL I HAD BEEN CONTACTED TO DO A COURTESEY CALL TO REINSPECT UNIT AFTER CLEAN UP ISSUES, AND ALL INTERIOR ISSUES, AND THE UTILITIES WERE RECONNECTED.
MY INSPECTION FOUND THE FRONT YARD HAD BEEN CLEANED UP AND THE CARPORT AREA CLEANED OUT. THE TRASH AND DEBRIS IN THE REAR YARD HAD BEEN MINIMIZED AND THE REAR YARD IS SURROUNDED BY A 6 FT WALL.
INSPECTION OF THE INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE FOUND ALL CARPETS HAD BEEN PULLED UP AND REMOVED, AND ALL TRASH AND DEBRIS REMOVED. THERE WAS FURNITURE IN THE LIVINGROOM AREA BUT THERE WAS ALSO SHELVING AND TOOLS IN THE LIVING ROOM. ALL DRYWALL REPAIRS HAD BEEN COMPLETED AND ELECTRICAL ISSUES COMPLETED AS WELL. UTILITIES HAD BEEN RESTORED. C/E HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES, AND ALLOWED THE OWNERS TO REMOVE THE BOARDS.
I BELEIVE APS DOES NOT THINK THE OCCUPANT IS NOT CAPABLE OF LIVING THERE BY HIMSELF. I DO NOT DISAGREE HOWEVER THIS WOULD BE A APS CALL. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
