TOOK PICTURES OF SUPPLIES THAT WOULD INDICATE MORE THAN A SOFT RENOVATION WAS OCCURING. ON WEST SIDE OF PROPERTY NEAR FENCE LINE AN OPEN TRENCH WITH COVER WAS ALSO IDENTIFIED. SPOKE TO PROPERTY OWNER REP. JERRY FISHER AS WELL AS PROPERTY ENGINEER AL, BOTH EXPLAINED TO INSPECTOR THAT NO WORK WAS BEING DONE THAT WOULD NEED A PERMIT. INSPECTOR ASKED TO WALK TO THE PROPERTY AS THE INSPECTOR SAW MATERIALS THAT WOULD INDICATE OTHERWISE. INSPECTOR VEIWED EXTENSIVE WORK BEING DONE THAT WOULD REQUIRE PERMITS; DUCT WORK WAS REMOVED ON IN A PILE WITHIN THE COURT YARD. NEW METAL STUDS WERE INSTALLED ALONG WITH NEW WALLS, MAY HAVE REMOVED OTHER WALLS AS WELL, CHANGING THE FLOOR PLANS TO GUEST ROOMS, RESTAURANT/BAR AND MEETING ROOMS, NEW ELECTRIAL JUNCTION BOXES/WIRING, FIXTURES AND LIGHTS WERE REMOVED, SHOWERS WERE REMOVED, RELOCATED AND CONVERTED INTO TUBS, PLUMBING WAS MODIFIED IN GUEST ROOMS AND IN KITCHEN, DRYWALL REMOVED EXPOSING STUDS AND INTERIOR WALL COMPONENTS. SPOKE TO ARCHITECH WHO SAYS THEY HAD A PERMIT FOR THE WORK BEING DONE IN THE LOBBY, INSPECTOR CONFIRMED THE PERMIT WAS NOT IN ISSUED STATUS AND DUE TO ALL THE WORK BEING DONE OUTSIDE OF THE LOBBY AND KNOWING FROM LAST INSPECTION DONE BY AVINDIOLA, PROPERTY MGRS KNEW PERMITS WOULD BE NEEDED FOR THIS TYPE OF WORK. SBERMUDEZ ISSUED 10 DAY NOV FOR PROPERTY OWNER TO OBTAIN PROPER PERMITS FOR ALL WORK BEING DONE. MUST SUBMIT FULL PLANS FOR ELECTRICAL, STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING TO INCLUDE NEW FLOOR PLAN CHANGES TO ROOMS, LOBBY, RESTAURANT/BAR, MEETING ROOMS. PROPERTY HAS BEEN POSTED, MGR JERRY FISHER WAS HAND DELIVERED THE NOV, AND INSPECTOR EXPLAINED THAT ALL WORK IS TO CEASE UNTIL ALL PERMITS OBTAINED AND NO PERSON SHALL BE PERMITTED TO CONTINUE ANY TYPE OF WORK. INSPECTOR CONFIRMED ALL WORK CREWS AND PERSON LEFT THE PROPERTY WITH ASSISTANCE FROM INSPECTOR RMENDOZA. PICTURES AND NOTICE WILL BE PLACED IN SIRE.
