Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a heater fire. Did talk to Captain West from T.F.D. and the unit was going to leave the site. The fire was a dryer in a furnace room and was not vented to the exterior and appears that the lent had a flash fire when the water heater started up to heat the water. Arrive and met with the tenant and the gas furnace was not connected and has a space heater for heat. The space heater was placed in the hallway to the bedroom areas. A gas dryer was added to the room from the owner and was not vented to the exterior and has lent on the wall and was able to see where had some burning. The water heater keeps going off when being used. Has no cooler and has a wall unit that has been added in the living room area. Did call the owner and left a message. All the smoke detectors are working at this time and will call the owner in the morning and than meet with the tenant. RV. |
