Arrived and the all the units were still on site and some of the vehicles were being removed due to being stolen. Were moving some of the other vehicles to get to the vehicles that were stolen to remove from the property. Went to take pictures for citation due to was not able to get into the property. The electrical was cut at the pole and the wire was removed including the meter was also removed. Did not find a gas meter and did all Southwest Gas and no gas was on the property. Did secure all the openings with plywood and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the property. Did remove the tarps that were on the rear chain link fencing to be able to see the property from the alley. Did have a tarp on the roof to hide the front of the house and that tarp was also removed and placed on the front of the house. Had a travel trailer on the property and that was also secured on all the openings. Had a plastic storage room and the doors were screwed shut. The rear walk gate was chained and locked with a city lock. The front gate was a rolling gate and that had fallen off the track. Did call Biff Baker Fence to come to the site to have the gate placed back on the track and helped lock the gate with chains and locks. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the property in several areas of the house and the trailer. Did place a Do Not Enter of the front gate area in the front of the house. Also was placed on the fence was the N.O.V. to Vacate with the animal control paperwork to the wood in the front of the property. Was not able to make contact with the owner but the son of the owner did show to the property. RV. | |
11/25/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | EMERGENCY CALL OUT BY TPD: TUCSON POLICE ON SITE REMOVING STOLEN VEHICLES WHILE ONSITE POLICE DID ENTER THE DWELLING AND HA LIFE SAFETY CONCERNS. CODE ENFORCEMENT DID ENTER THE DWELLING AND NOTICE THE FRONT OF THE DWELLING HAS A LARGE WOOD FRAME SHADE STRUCTURE ATTACHED AND ALSO UNDER THE SHADE STRUCTURE THERE IS A WOOD FRAMED ADDITION ALSO ATTACHED TO THE SHADE STRUCTURE AND THE DWELLING. THERE ARE EXTENSION CORDS IN THIS AREA AND BEHIND THE DOOR WHICH SEPARATES THE ADDITION IN HALF THERE IS EXPOSED ROMEX CABLE. THESE STRUCTURES ARE DANGEROUS AND NOT CODE COMPLIANT. THE INTERIOR OF THE HOME ALSO HAS EXTENSION CORDS WHICH TRAVEL ON THE FLOOR GOING OUTSIDE. THERE ARE MULTIPLE COVER PLATES DAMAGED. THE IS A LARGE PROPANE GAS CONTAINER IN THE KITCHEN. THE BEDROOM WINDOW IS BLOCKED FROM THE OUTSIDE AND IS BROKEN WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF CLUTTER BLOCK EGRESS. THE MAIN DISCONNECT HAS TWO METAL CLAD CABLE RUNNING INTO THE DWELLING THESE CIRCUITS WERE NEVER PERMITTED BASE ON THE WIRING METHODS ALSO NOT CODE COMPLIANT. THE CIRCUIT NEAR THE WATER HEATER HAS AN EXTERIOR ENCLOSURE WITH THE COVER MISSING AND THERE ARE EXPOSED AND OPEN CONDUCTORS. THE WEST SIDE OF THE HOME HAS SEWER WATER WITH OPEN TRENCHES. THE GROUNDS ARE FILL WITH SCRAP METAL, TRASH AND DEBRIS. THERE ARE MULTIPLE JUNK MOTOR VEHICLES AND ONE RV. POWER WAS ORDER TO BE DISCONNECTED DUE TO THE ELECTRICAL HAZARDS, THE HOME BOARDED AND CONDEMNED THIS HOME IS UNFIT TO OCCUPY. |
