11/20/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units were still on site with an active fire. The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The electrical and the gas were removed at the meters due to the fire damage. The fire was in the kitchen, dinning room and the front bedroom. The house has heavy smoke damage through out. The windows in the front bedroom and the dinning room were broken in the fire. The kitchen cabinets are burned or have heat damage. The drywall in the bedroom, dinning room and kitchen have holes or pulled down to check for fire in the walls and ceilings. The fire burned the overhang in the front of the house where came through the windows. The bedroom had an AC in the wall the has been burned. The flooring has water and some is with carpet. Was not able to make contact with the owner due to lives out of state. Does have a property manger and did make contact with Blue Fox Properties and they gave permission to have the property secured due to not able to find anyone to do the work. The tenants were given permission to sign the paperwork. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured. The house has security bars on the windows and doors and the windows were able to lock that were not damaged in the fire. Did screw the 2-3' security doors shut in the front and the side of the house. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the plywoood on the fire damaged area. Redcross did come to the site for placement of the tenants and once they signed the paperwork they left the site. They were able to enter the house to grab some items for the night and will call the property manger to re-enter the house tomorrow. RV.
