PLACED LOCK ON CHAIR FOR REAR DOOR AND SHUT SIDE DOOR SO AS NOT TO FLING OPEN AS THERE IS A WROUGHT IRON DOOR ON EXTERIOR. SHUTTING THE INTERIOR DOOR WILL KEEP WEATHER ELEMENTS OUT AND MAY DETER ANYONE FROM TRYING TO SEE WHATS INSIDE THE SMOKE SHOP.

WATER WAS NOT TO BE TURNED ON UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY CE AFTER CE CONFIRMS ALL PERMITS WERE SECURED. PROPERTY OWNER ALLOWED FOR ILLEGAL OCCUPANCY AND BUSINESS WITHOUT APPROVAL. CE WILL ALLOW BUSINESS OWNER 48 HRS TO VACATE THE BUILDING ALONG WITH THEIR MERCHANDISE. CE INSPECTOR WILL RETURN TO PROPERTY FRIDAY TO PULL POWER FOR NOT SECURING PERMITS NEEDED. PEOPLE FOUND LIVING INSIDE, STEALING ELECTRIC TO PROVIDE POWER TO SPACE HEATERS FOUND INSIDE STORE ROOM WHERE BEDDING, CLOTHES, NEW FURNITURE, MATTRESS, FOOD, WATER AND GARBAGE WERE ALSO FOUND. PER STORE CLERK TO SMOKE SHOP SOMEONE WAS LIVING IN THE GARAGE BEHIND SMOKE SHOP WHO WAS THE SAME PERSON WHO WAS FOUND THERE WHEN INITIALLY CONDEMNED FOR STEALING POWER. CUT THE LOCK TO THE CHAIN AS WE ALSO SMELLED SMOKE, UPON ENTERING GARAGE FOUND WATER LEAKING FROM CEILING IN MULTIPLE AREAS, CAVING AND BOWING AS WELL. FOUND NEW ITEMS AND FURNITURE, NEW WIRING FROM BREAKER BOX RUNNING INTO GARAGE PROVIDING POWER TO SPACE HEATERS, HAIR DRYERS, LIGHTS, MICROWAVE, HOT PLATE, ETC. AREAS WHERE PERSONS WERE BUILDING FIRES AND SMOKE DAMAGE TO MULTIPLE CEILING AREAS. RESECURED GARAGE, BOARDED AND PINNED ALL OPENINGS TO SMOKE SHOP, MIDDLE SUIT AND AUTO REPAIR CENTER. NO ELECTRIC POWER HAS YET TO BE RESTORED TO THE AUTO SHOP AND PEOPLE ARE ACCESSING THE BUILDING AS WELL. POSTED PROPERTY WITH DO NOT ENTER POSTINGS. NOTIFIED OWNER, WHO SAID SHE DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE LIVING IN THE UNIT BUT SHE DID RENT TO THEM AS THE NEW BUSINESS OWNERS OF THE SMOKE SHOP. OWNER HAS DONE NOTHING TO ABATE VIOLATIONS REGARDING UNAPPROVED WIRING AND PERMITS FOR THE UNAPPROVED ADDITION.
