11/04/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, TFD HAD ALREADY LEFT AT THE TIME OF MY ARRIVAL, CITY COMM HAD SAID THE MAINTANENCE PEOPLE COULD NOT BE REACHED BUT WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE UNIT THE LEAD MAINATINENCE PERSON AND ONE OTHER WERE ON SITE. THEY HAD ALREADY SHUT THE WATER OFF TO THE UNIT AND REMOVED THE HOTWATER HEATER. DANIEL STATED THAT THEY KEEP THE HOTWATER HEATERS IN STOCK AND THEY WOULD SIMPLY REPLACE THE 20 GALLON HOTWATER HEATER. THERE WAS NO WATER DAMAGE IN G-11 AS ALL WATER WAS DUMPING INTO G-5. FLOOR AND CARPET AREAS WERE DRY. SINCE THE HOTWATER HEATER WAS PULLED WHEN I ARRIVED I ISSUED A NOV TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE UNIT SINCE THEY WERE REPLACING LIKE FOR LIKE. DANIEL STATED THEY ONLY NEEDED TO PLACE THE WATER LINES ON THE UNIT AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE UNIT, BUT WOULD WAIT UNTIL ALL WATER WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE PANTRY. THIS UNIT WAS ALSO DRY, WORK WAS IN PROGRESS, AND REPLACING LIKE FOR LIKE. NOV WAS ISSUED BUT I DID NOT REQUIRE PERMITS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
