09/06/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | The office called that T.F.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the fire units have cleared the site and T.P.D. was on site. The vehicle hit a tilt construction type building and the vehicle hit the area of an opening for the main entrance and was off set from the exterior walls. The section that was hit was a metal framed wall with plaster on the exterior and drywall on the interior of the building. The store front entrance has been damaged and part of the metal framed wall holding the window frame has been damaged. Did have light switches for the lighting in the office spaces including the bathrooms and some of the offices and those were removed at the breaker. The counter top for the office has been damaged and pushed off the floor. The counter top area has electrical in and that was turned off at the breakers. The door was damaged and will have to do something with the alarm system to set back on. The main structure is OK and will be able to remain opened but will have to address the public a different way due to the other openings are to the work areas on the side of the building and the rear of the building. The owner was on site and he signed the paperwork and was getting some to have the opening secured once the vehicle was removed. Once the vehicle was removed and took pictures, left the site. RV. |
