08/30/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved RECEIVED CALL FROM CITY COMMUNICATIONS FROM TPD TO INSPECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE STRUCTURE. SPOKE WITH TPD WHILE ON MY WAY TO THE CASE, WHILE IN ROUTE, OFFICER INFORMED ME THAT THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY WAS THE CITY OF TUCSON. THE OCCUPANT A MOTHER OF 3 AND EXPECTING A CHILD ANY TIME, AND ACTUALLY IN ROUTE TO THE HOSPITAL. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE BETTER PERSON TO CONTACT WOULD BE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEPT. I INFORMED HIM THAT THEY CONDUCT THIER OWN INSPECTIONS AND MAKE NECESSARY REPAIRS, ASK OCCUPANTS TO CLEAN UP TO MEET THEIR CODE EXPECTATIONS.
I DID HAVE CODE ENFORCEMENT CSR CONTACT HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO ADDRESS THE CALL, SO THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE TWO INSPECTIONS BY C/E AND HCDD.
I DID ASK TPD IF THEY NEEDED ME TO CONTINUE AS I WAS IN ROUTE. TPD OFFICER STATED THEY WOULD MAKE THE CONTACT. JUST AFTER MY CONVERSATION I RECEIVED A CALL FROM CITY COMM AND INFORMED THEM OF THE SITUATION AND WHO NEEDED TO BE CALLED. CITY COMM ALSO STATED THEY WOULD REFER THE CALL.
COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
