08/19/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, FIRST DROVE THE WATER DEPT, AND PARKING AREA, SAW NO WATER COMING FROM THE PARKING AREA. MET WITH LARRY ALVAREZ PLUMBING SUPERVISOR WITH GENERAL SERVICES DEPT WHO STATED HE ISOLATED WATER TO THE FIRST FLOOR AND WALKED THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOOR WITH G 2 4 SECURITY. THEY FOUND NO LEAKS ON THOSE TWO FLOORS. MR ALVAREZ STATED THAT HE THINKS IT MAY BE A IRRIGATION BREAK, BUT THEY HAVE SEEN NO WATER. I ASKED WHO CALLED HIM FOR THE EMERGENCY, HE WAS ALSO CALLED BY CITY COMM AND 2 OTHER WATER SUPERVISORS WERE CONTACTED AND ON THEIR WAY. MR ALVAREZ STATED HIS PLAN WAS TO WALK THE 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR A 2ND TIME JUST TO BE SURE THEY SEE NO WATER AND THEN TURN THE WATER BACK ON TO THE 1ST FLOOR. LARRY STATED HE MAY WAIT UNTIL WATER SUPERVISORS ARRIVE TO RESTORE WATER TO THE 1ST FLOOR. LARRY ALVAREZ SEEMED TO HAVE THE SITUATION UNDER CONTROL, I ASKED IF HE REQUIRED MY HELP AND HE FELT CONFIDENT THAT ONCE SUPERVISORS ARRIVED THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE THINGS OUT. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM LARRY ALVAREZ WHO WAS JUST LETTING ME KNOW THAT THEY WOULD BE RESTORING WATER TO THE 1ST FLOOR AND THEN WALKING THE IST FLOOR. BUT AT THIS TIME HE HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS. I FELT THE RIGHT PEOPLE WERE INSPECTING THE WATER. C/E LEFT THE SCENE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
