Received a call from the supervisor Martin Romero that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and were checking for hot spots. T.E.P. had to cut the services lines to the house at the pole due to they were involved in the fire. The gas was being removed at the meter due to the fire damage. The water was off at the meter due to the water was leaking on the interior of the house where one of the fitting came off the pipe. The rear porch and a room are a total lost and the fire enter the house through the rear windows where the glass broke from the heat of the fire. The bedrooms have smoke damage and of very little fire damage due to what appears that the doors were shut and the fire was at the doors but did not enter the bedrooms. Had a back room that was added to the house and that has been burned. The kitchen, dinning room and the living room have all been involved in the fire with heavy smoke damage where not burned. Vent holes were cut on the roof and the fire did enter the attic area. Was not able to locate the owner and had a person that works with the owner but he left the site and posted the paperwork on the house due to the house had tenants. Posted the Do Not Enter on the front and place a city lock on the front gate. RV. |
