08/06/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communnication called the T.P.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the units still on site and the vehicle was being removed from the property. The vehicle hit the southwest corner of the apartment complex. The wood framing was pushed in on the corner and damage the stucco on the exterior and the drywall on the interior. There is a outlet next to the bed frame that has been pushed out of the box under the window. The electrical was removed at the interior panel at this time until it's checked on the extent of the damage. This does have an upper unit and the will be checked for damage. The tenant was not home at the time of the incident and has been called to let her know on what happened on her unit. The entry door is hard to open and closed due to binding from the wall being pushed in from the impact. The windows are opening and closing OK and able to move around. The pop out of wood framing on the exterior has been loosened and pulling away from the wall in areas. The window areas has cracks on the drywall where the wall has been pushed in. The property will be posted Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner of the property signed the paperwork. The owner is trying to place the tenant in a hotel and did advise to call the Redcross for assistance also due to may be a long term stay. RV.
