| 08/02/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISISTED SITE, MET WITH THE OCCUPANT WHO SHOWED ME A LEAK IN THE KITCHEN THAT WAS COMING FROM UNIT #204 ABOVE AND LEAKING DOWN INTO THE SOFFIT AREA AND CAUSING WATER DAMAGE INTO UNIT 104. I CHECKED THE UNIT ABOVE AND FOUND THAT THE WALLS HAD BEEN OPENED UP AND THE REPAIRS MADE TO THE PLUMBING. WALLS NEED TO BE CLOSED UP AND DRYWALL REPAIRS AND PAINT COMPLETED. THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED WORK IN PROGRESS. THE UNIT BELOW #104 A NOTICE WAS ISSUED FOR ANY PLUMBING REPAIRS IN THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM. THERE IS A LEAK COMING FROM THE UNIT ABOVE AS WELL. MANAGEMENT HAS ALREADY PLANNED TO REMOVE THE DRYWALL IN THE DROPPED CEILING ABOVE THE TUB AREA AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NOT A LEAK. ONCE ANY PLUMBING ISSUES ARE ABATED THEY WILL REPAIR DRYWALL IN THE KITCHEN AND BATH AND PAINT, INCLUDED IN THE NOV. NOV INCLUDED PLUMBING REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF THE KITCHEN CABINET DAMAGED BY WATER LEAK. FIELD NOV ISSUED ON SITE AND SIGNED FOR BY MANAGER MARISOL, MARISOL REQUESTED ADDITIONAL TIME DUE TO INSPECTION OF THE UNIT BY UPPER SUPERVISION, I ASKED THAT SHE CONTACT ME PRIOR TO THE TEN DAY ABATMENT PERIO IF MORE TIME WAS REQUIRED. |
