07/30/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved ON SITE; CALLED TENANT NO ANSWER LEFT MESSAGE, SPOKE TO PROPERTY MANAGER WHO SAYS UNIT 97 WAS NEVER DAMAGED, UNIT 97 IS A DIFFERENT BUILDING ENTIRELY. MANAGER EXPLAINED THAT THE TREES THAT WERE HIT BY LIGHTNING CAUGHT FIRE AND THE EMBERS FELL ONTO UNIT 102 AND ITS BUILDING WHICH CAUGHT FIRE FOR A BRIEF MOMMENT BUT THERE WERE NO DAMAGE TO ROOF AND THERE WERE NO HOLES. INSPECTOR WALKED OVER WITH PROPERTY MANAGER AND SPOKE TO TENANT AT UNIT 97, TENANT SAID THEY NEVER CALLED AND HAD NO IDEA WHY CE WAS THERE, I EXPLAINED WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM WANDA WHO WAS SAID TO BE THE OTHER TENANT RESIDING IN UNIT 97. TENANT REPEATS THAT THERE ARE NO HOLES IN THEIR CEILING OR ROOF. INSPECTOR WALKED WITH MANAGER TO UNIT 102 BUILDING AND WITH MAINT MAN CHECKED THE ROOFS OF BOTH BUILDINGS NEAR THE TREES THAT WERE HIT BY LIGHTNING, NO DAMAGE FOUND, NO HOLES FOUND. WILL CLOSE CASE AT THIS TIME.
