07/26/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved CONTACT WAS MADE WITH PROPERTY MANAGER OF GREENLEAF APARTMENTS AND THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY COMPLIANTS FROM UNIT 235 HOWEVER THEY DID HAVE A COMPLIANT FROM UNIT 135. UNIT 135 WAS GIVEN A TEMPORARY COOLING UNIT. THEY CALLED ORACLE COOLING TO COME OUT ONCE AGAIN AS THE CHILLER SYSTEM WENT OUT THIS MORNING BUT WAS FIXED. NO OTHER COMPLIANTS FROM ANY OTHER UNITS SO THEY FEEL THE TWO UNITS ARE AN ISOLATED ISSUE. IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPAIR THE COOLING IN UNIT 235 THEY WILL PROVIDE A TEMPORTY COOLING UNIT UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. CONTRACTOR RECOMMENDED THE CORRECT FILTER FOR THE UNIT TO ALLOW PROPER AIR FLOW, ALL NUMBERS CHECKED OUT AS NORMAL, CONTRACTOR ALSO RECOMMENDED TENANT KEEP ALL WINDOWS AND BLINDS CLOSED AS TENANT HAD ALL OF THEM OPEN. TENANT WANTED CONTRACTOR TO REWIRE THE MOTOR THE WAY SHE HAD IT, CONTRACTOR ADVISED THAT TO DO THAT WAS AN UNSAFE WIRING METHOD AND HE WOULD NOT REWIRE. TENANT WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH CONTRACTORS FINDINGS. INSPECTOR WILL KEEP THE CASE OPEN UNTIL MONDAY FOR A POSSIBLE FOLLOW UP INSPECTION.
