Did have the daughter and son in law on site and gave permission to enter the house to talk to the owner. The owner was inside the house and sitting in a chair. Did let the owner know that I was on site to check the living condition. I was in the process of checking the condition when the owner was asking for everyone to leave. Did go outside and was able to see enough of the condition and has no clear paths to doors and windows, the ceiling of drywall was loose and falling in some areas in the kitchen area, hoarding, not able to check the electrical due to being blocked with piled up storage, some areas not able to walk into due to filled with storage. The property was condemned and had no gas due to the meter was removed and the electrical was removed at the pole. The water was off at the valve at the meter and let the daughter know that the water can be turned back on. The gas and the electric will need a permit to have the gas and the electric turned back on after the permit and inspection are completed. The owner was refusing to leave the house and was removed by T.P.D. and transported to the hospital for evalulation. The daughter was on site and gave permission to have the property secured. The rear door was locked by the son in law and the front windows were boarded up and the front door screwed shut. The windows did have security bars and were not secured properly. The daughter did sign the paperwork of N.O.V. to Vacate on site. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows on the plywood. The daughter was going to change the locks and was advised to have control on who enter the property. RV. |
