06/29/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH OFFICER HYDE WHO INFORMED ME OWNER OF THE TRAILER WAS LIVING IN THE TRAILER WITH NO WATER AND ALL WINDOWS WERE BOARDED FROM THE INSIDE. OFF HYDE ALSO STATED THE FRONT DOOR WAS SCREWED SHUT. INSPECTION DID FIND THE WINDOWS BOARDED INSIDE, OCCUPANT HAD PUT DOWN NEW SUB FLOOR AND SEEMED TO HAVE DONE A DECENT JOB. THE REST OF THE TRAILER WAS BEING COMPLETELY REMODELED. FOUND ELECTRICAL ISSUES INSIDE WITH SUB PANEL NOT WIRED PROPERLY AND WIRING EXPOSED, LIGHT FIXTURES HANGING FROM THE CEILING BY JUST THE WIRE. I WAS UNABLE TO GET TO THE OUTLETS WITH ALL THE CONST. TOOLS AND MATERIALS. THE PLUG PIECE FOR THE MAIN PEDESTEAL FELL OUT WHEN I TRIED REMOVING THE LIFELINE. I WAS UNABLE TO LOCK OUT THE PEDESTAL BECAUSE THE NECESSARY PIECE WAS MISSING.
THE TRAILER JUST LOOKED LIKE IT WAS NOT READY TO BE OCCUPIED. TRAILER OWNER ROGER JOHNSTON WAS INFORMED THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAY INSIDE THE STRUCTURE WHILE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, INSPECTED FOR SAFETY REASONS, AND BOARDS TAKEN OFF ALL WINDOWS.
SLEEPY HOLLOW TRAILER ARE BEING SOLD TO NEW OWNERS AND OWNERS ARE BEING HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THE TRAILER UP TO LIVING STANDARDS. MR JOHNSTON MAY BE IN OVER HIS HEAD.
OWNER WAS ISSUED A NOV FOR PERMITS REQUIRED. MR JOHNSTON WILL BE STATYING WITH FRIEND DOWN THE STREET THAT THAT WAS ALSO INSIDE THE STRUCTURE.
FRONT DOOR WAS SECURED BY C/E BOARD UP ARCADIAN. NOV ISSUED FOR PERMITS REQUIRED. UNIT 438 POSTED WITH UNFIT TO OCCUPY PLACARDS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
