Will file for a motion to vacate the hearing. The son did go to the courts and was not able to enter the court rooms due to being closed due to the virus. Will wait for response from the court to vacate the hearing. RV.
10/09/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Checked the site with the son of the person that was removed from the property. Alot of the items that were in the house have been removed from the property. The bathroom area still has no toilet or a sink installed. The bathtub is still filled with storage. It appears that the drain line is back up due to the toilet drain is filled with water. All utilities are still off at the meters. Still needs to replace the roof due to seeing daylight from the interior of the house. Has holes in the walls and ceilings in the drywall and the ceiling is loose in areas. The kitchen still has storage in the area and has no stove or refrigerator in the area. Still in the process of cleaning the property and has moved alot of the trash and debris that was on the exterior of the property. Did let the son know that his father is not the owner of the property and did give a folder of phone number to call to check if he can get assistance on some of the work needed to be done to move back in. Will check in 30 days. RV.
09/06/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property to check if someone staying in the house. Did knock on the door and a male answered. The person in the house is renting and while the door was opened, was able to see that the house was filled with storage in the house. The tenant did let me see and has hoarding condition and no clear paths to doors and windows. A door and windows were boarded up and not able to open or close. Has no water heater and the cooler is not working. The roof is weather and has to many layer and has edges that are lefting. The ceiling has fallen in the living room area where the roof is leaking. Has no working bathroom at this time. The kitchen area is filled with storage or trash and debris. The house was condemned and had the electrical cut at the pole. The exterior has diconnects and conduits that are loose from the masonry wall in the rear of the house. Did find the owner of the property at 522 W. Holladay Dr. and has no phone at this time. The owner signed the N.O.V. to Vacate and had a place for the tenant to stay at. Will do N.O.V. for the other items. RV.
