| 06/24/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Tony from T.E.P. called that he responding to the property due to the electrical has been removed due to lack of payment and the house has power at this time. Arrived and did knock on the doors and windows and no one answered. The breakers were turned off to have the meter removed. The meter was removed and found metal bars being used as jumpers. Did call the owner and she came to the site. The owner was not aware of the people in the house and the tenant that moved out did not know the people in the house. T.P.D. was called to the site and the house was cleared and the people did have to remove the items out of the house. The vehicles on the property were parked on the street. T.E.P. did cut the wires on the pole due to the tampering of the meter. Once the items were removed out, the house was checked on the windows being locked. Did find 2-windows that did not have security bars opened and they were locked. The other openings all had security bars. The people stated that they had no key to the house. The house was posted of Do Not Enter on the front window. Did go over with the owner that a permit will be required at this time due to the wires were cut at the pole. The house was in good condition and the owner was able to look at the house to check the interior of the house. The owner stated that the house was empty when the tenant moved out. The owner was going to check on what to do with the items left behind. The locks were going to be changed at a later time in the day. Placed a city lock on the front gate until the owner gets a new lock to put on the front gate. The owner signed the N.O.V. to Vacate on site and did go over that the people removed if they want to get back in that she needs to let them in. RV. |
