05/26/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Had a fire in the rear of the building and the double doors to the rear of the building were burned. The fire did not carry into the trusses due to has a masonry wall fire wall. The smoke did get into the building from the double doors and carried to the other unit. There was no fire damage to the structure but did not have a ceiling due to was knocked down due to construction in the area. The was wiring in the ceiling area and was not protected and was not sure of heat damage. The electical was removed at the disconnect with a T.E.P. lock due to not able to seperate from the other unit. This area was being used for a community church and the people from the church were on site and did remove the items out of the building to take to another location for storage. The building was posted Do Not Enter on the 2-doors into the area and the property manager did show and he signed the paperwork on site. The locks were changed while on site and the tenants were advised that they need to make contact with the property manager to get back into the area to remove the other items that were left. At this time the case will be closed due to will be working with the insurance company and the contractor will need to get the permits to do the work. This address is part of 4811 where the units have been combined. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
