07/11/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Arrived on site and met with Mr. Price who was at the front door. I was with Hamed the maintenance guy for this property. He stated he could not get into the unit because it was lockdown by the management, this is the first time I've heard of him not having control of his condo. Maintenance man Hamed chimed in and stated there was a court order for him not to even be on the property and for no way to enter into the condo. A heated exchange between Ahmed and Mr. Priced happened and both claimed that they were going to call the police department. Hamed had me contact the manager Catherine who also explain to me Mr Price has a court order condition of release not to be back at this property and no way enter into the unit. The unit was condemned back in December 30th of 18 by m Lopez as a fire-damaged unit. Another heated exchanged happened between another maintenance man Robert and Mr. Price. I called Mr. Price over and let him know that I will not enter into that unit or the neighboring unit to see any work until I understood what kind of court order is in place at this unit. He got upset and stormed off. TPD showed up and took statements from Catherine Ahmed Robert and I in regards to what happened. Catherine and maintenance people stated no work has been done except for clearing out all the fire damage to that unit. No remodeling work has started it would be handled through a contractor and contractor would be pulling all permits. At this point will move to close out this case. |
