FIRE CAUGHT A COUCH ON FIRE AND THEN MOVED INTO THE STRUCTURE. MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: > 1 X 12 ROOF DECKING FIRE DAMAGED. >2 X 4 RAFTERS 16" OC, AND 4 X 6 POST AND MID SPAN BEAM ALSO FIRE DAMAGED. > 2 X 4 BEARING WALL 24"OC, DOUBLE TOP PLATE AND SIDING WERE ALL FIRE DAMAGED > ALL EXISTING WIRING, SWITCHES, FIXTURES, AND DICONNECT HAD ALL BEEN ELIMINTATED PRIOR TO THE FIRE. POWER WAS RESTORED TO UNITS 8 THRU 14 BY CODE ENFORCEMENT. FIELD NOV WAS ISSUED ON SITE, NO ONE SHOWED FOR THE NOV . NOV SENT REGULAR MAIL. BURNED WALL CLOSER TO THE ALLEY WAS FENCED TO SECURE PROPERTY FROM FUTURE HOMELESS IN THE ALLEY . EAST SIDE DOOR WAS BOARDED TO COMPLETELY SECURE THE STRUCTURE. STRUCTURE POSTED ON BOTH THE DOOR AND FENCING "DO OT ENTER, UNFIT TO OCCUPY" FIELD NOV ISSUED ON SITE, WILL BE SENT REGULAR MAIL. ALL EXTERIOR WALLS AND PARTING WALLS WERE CMU BLOCK WALLS. |
