04/27/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a fire on the exterior of the building. The fire was on the exterior of the building and burned a pile of compacted cardboard stacked on the rear of the building. The fire did not get inside the building but when the overhead door was opened to check where the fire was, some smoke did get into the store. Some of the breakers were tripped for lighting on the exterior of the building, the compactor, and some other electrical wiring that was burned in the fire and goes to the roof. No damage to the interior of the store and will be able to open once the water is turned back on. The gas will be pinned off at the meter due to not able to get on the roof due to not able to find a ladder to the roof to check the gas packs on the roof for the line test. The water heater was left off due to lacking water at this time due to off at the back flow device. Had 2-semi trailers on site used for storage and the door has burn damage and did not enter the semi trailers. Does have issues with the electrical panel with not having the proper clearance. Did go over that the items being stored in front of the panels need to be moved and not placed in those areas to have the proper clearance at all times. Some shelving will need to be moved due to blocking access to the panel with fuses for the compactor. The fire department was called back to the site due to had smoke coming out and not able to find a hose with water in the area. The electician showed and removed the breakers that were tripped. Sabino Electric did the work. A plumber showed to have the water turned back on. A mechanical contractor showed to check the units due to were lacking water to the chiller units for the freezers and the refrigerators. RV. |
