Communication called that T.F.D. on site with hazard electric with sparks coming out of the wall. Arrived and T.E.P. and S.W.G. was on site. There was arcing where a copper tubing was in contact with a gas line on the exterior of the house. The copper tubing had a hole where the arcing was coming from. The son was installing security covering over the windows and may have drilled into a wire in the brick wall on the exterior of the house. The meter was blanked by T.E.P. and will need to get a license contractor to have the electric check for grounding out. S.W.G pinned the meter and the house line is not holding pressure. Will need to have the plumber check the gas line and need to do a pressure test on the gas line and get a clearance before the gas can be turned back on. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork and was able to lock the house. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. RV. |
