CAR FIRST HIT WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE A IDLE RISER, HAD NEVER BEEN USED. CAR BROKE THE LINE UNDER GOUND AT THE 90% FITTING. THE CAR CONTINUED INTO THE BUILDING DAMAGING THE STRUCTURES METAL STUDS AND EXTERIOR STUCCO AND THE INTERIOR DRYWALL AND GRAB BARS. THE CAR HIT THE BATHROOM AREA, BATHROOM WAS STILL USABLE, THERE WAS NO ELECTRIC IN THE WALL AND DRYWALL WAS ONLY BULDGED OUT AND CRACKED. I INFORMED BARBERSHOP OWNER THAT THE BATHROOM WAS STILL USABLE. S/W GAS MADE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS TO THE GAS LINE PRIOR TO MY LEAVING AND IN THE PROCESS OF AIRING OUT THE GROUND AREA IN THE LOCATION OF THE BREAK. NOV WAS ISSUED TO THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY ASHLAND GROUP. TRIED CONTACTING SEVERAL PEOPLE AT ASHLAND, LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM KATHY STATING THEY HAD RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER OF THE BARBER SHOP AND ASHLAND IS ALREADY COMMUNICATING WITH THE OWNERS ON HOW TO MOVE FORWARD. NOV WILL ALSO BE SENT TO OWNER AND ASHLAND GROUP. |
