02/26/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TPD OFFICERS HOULD AND POPE. OCCUPANT IN UNIT #7 WAS FOUND WITH A LARGE TENT IN THE REAR YARD AND A FIRE BURNING IN THE YARD. THREE PEOPLE WERE REMOVED FROM THE TENT, ONE HAD WARRANTS AND WAS ARRESTED. MANAGEMENT HAD BEEN CONTACTED AND ARRIVED AND ISSUED A 5 DAY EVICTION NOTICE FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT BECAUSE THE COMPLEX WAS A CRIME FREE COMPLEX AND EACH TENANT SIGNED A DOCUMENT AWARE IT WAS A CRIME FREE AREA AND WOULD NOT TOLERATE ANY CRIMES ON THE PROPERTY. I WAS ASKED HOW C/E COULD GET INVOLVED AND HELP OUT. I INFORMED THE MANAGER THAT WE COULD ISSUE A NOV TO HAVE THE TENT REMOVED IMMEDIATLEY AND POST THE AREA UNFIT TO OCCUPY, AND WITHIN 5 DAYS THE ENTIRE BACK YARD AREA WOULD NEED TO BE CLEANED FREE OF ALL DEBRIS. I INFORMED THEM THAT IF THE DEBRIS WAS REMOVED THAT MANAGEMENT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE.
TFD ARRIVED TO REMOVE THE PERSON WHO IS TO BE ARREST DUE TO PERSON DIGESTING HEROIN WHEN TPD HAD ARRIVED AND NOW FEELING VERY ILL. TFD TOOK THE PERSON TO ST MARY'S HOSPITAL ALONG WIH OFFICER HOULD.
FIELD NOV WAS ISSUED AND PROPERTY POSTED UNFIT TO OCCUPY. COPY OF THE FIELD NOV WAS GIVEN TO BOTH THE MANAGER AND THE OCCUPANT.
