MET WITH GENERAL MANAGER JASON BRAUN WHO STATED THE AREA IS PART OF STUDENT HOUSING, THE SOL BULDING. DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE HAD A DIABETIC SEIZURE, RAN INTO THE BUILDING AND TRIED BACKING UP, ENDED UP ON A BOULDER AT THE BANK NEXT DOOR. MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
>THE AREA DAMAGED IS THE BOTTOM LEVEL THAT APPARRENTLY HAS NEVER BEEN USED EXCEPT FOR SOME STORAGE OF FURNITURE, LIGHTING FIXTURES (?) ETC..
>THE AREA PER THE MANAGER HAS NEVER BEEN DRYWALLED, ALWAYS LEFT UNFINISHED. METAL STUDS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXPOSED
>THE EXTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE APPEARS TO BE A TYPE OF CONCRETE BACKER BOARD, OR MARLYTE WHICH I DO NOT THINK IS USED ANYMORE. BUT THE BOTTOM FLOOR APPEARED TO BE UNFINISHED AS WELL.
>CAR ENTERED THE SOUTH WALL OF THE STRUCTURE DAMAGING (4) METAL STUDS 16 IN ON CENTER, THE HOLE ITSELF WAS APPROX 5FT X 6FT. OF DAMAGED MARLYTE.
>THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ELECTRICAL
>THERE WAS NO PLUMBING
>S/W GAS CONFIRMED NO GAS
>JASON BRUAN, MANAGER ELECTED TO HAVE HIS MAINTANENCE CREW SECURE THE STRUCTURE.
>NOV ISSUED FOR PERMITS REQUIRED (COMMERCIAL BUILDING)
>CAR REMOVED BY GARY'S TOWING, CALLED BY TPD
