01/14/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | T.E.P. called that on site with tampering with the electric panel. Arrived and the electrical should be off and is on due to has tapped into the gutter and by-passed the meter and giving power to the breaker. The power was turned off due to non-payment. The property is a duplex and both are supposed to be off and both have power at this time. T.E.P. was order to remove power at the pole due to the tampering and will require a permit once the wiring that was added is removed and the work is done properly. Did meet with the property owner who is the son of the dead owner of the property listed on the Pima County Assessor records. The owner was cited due to the tampering of the electric and has a court date. The unit next door has an issue with the addressing and the owner was advised to have that checked. Both units were turned off due to the wires cut at the pole. The property was posted Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner signed the paperwork. The owner was told about being on the property and not being on the property after dark. He wants to be a security guard and went over can be caught sleeping in the car. Did go over the permit being required and inspected to have the permit approved before the power can be turned back on. RV. |
