08/13/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The property was cleaned by the Brush and Bulky crew. One vehicle was removed by Gary's Towing and taken to the yard. Did have other vehicles on the property and were not part of the Abatement Order. Was not able to get approval to have the vehicles removed unde this order due to were not part of the Abatement Order. While on site the siblings did show up and did go over the Abatement Order and was almost completed on the clean up. Did go over some of the items that will remain on the property. Did place screws on the rear security door to keep closed. Did go over the rear porch needing to be removed due to not connected correctly to the house, the carport has two rooms that were enclosed for storage and were not permitted. The walls and the storage need to be removed. There was a wood frame storage room built and has no permits and will also need to be removed due to the setbacks are not being met. Will be giving the siblings 3-weeks to remove the vehicles and work on removing the porch, the walls in the carport and the wood frame storage room. Received the info on phone numbers and addresses for the siblings.
08/12/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with Acadia Landscape on having the property cleaned and getting a bid for the work to be done. Did verify that the Brush and Bulky crew will be on site to have the property cleaned. Did get a warrant to go on the property to have the property cleaned. The warrant was approved. Did call T.P.D. to be on site to have the warrant served tomorrow. RV.
08/11/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with Woodstock Builders on site for a bid on the cleaning of the property. The gates were locked and has posting of No Trespassing posted in different areas. No one on site at this time. RV.
12/11/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Stop by the site to check the status of the clean up of the property. The property is not cleaned up and the vehicles are still on site. Did talk to the bother of the owner and went over what is not done and needs to be done. Does have a storage room being built and no permit for the wood frame shed. The setbacks are not being met and will need to get the permit and check on what can be done to keep the structure on the property. The owner has just left the site and not able to call him or make contact with the owner. The bother will let the owner know on what needs to be done. RV.
10/21/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner and check the site for the court hearing. Did take pictures of the property and the vehicles on site at this time. Did go over the court order clean up going to be requested and that if granted, that the owner will still have time to work on the property for a few months. Court 10-22-19 at 10:00 AM. RV.
08/19/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner on the property and was still cleaning the property. There is no permit for the enclosing of the carports at this time. The alley still has trash and debris where the pile was placed for pick up, the rear yard still has tires and wood piled in the rear and side yard with some piles scattered through out the property for pick up. The owner was trying to clean the carports to move the vehicles into the carport for storage. Did go over the vehicles on the street and they will need to be moved off the street. The owner will continue to clean until the court time tomorrow at 9:00 AM. RV.
08/13/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner of the property and still working on the property. Did go over on what needs to be done. Did ask on the vehicles on the property due to has other vehicles on the property that were not on the property at the last inspection. Did go over that he can not work on the vehicles on the property. Did go over the cleaning in the alley where the trash and debris has been dumped for pick up. Did go over the court date next week 8-20-19 at 9:00 AM. Will check on Monday. RV.
07/01/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site and met the friend of the owner. The owner was not on site. Did let her know that I will be taking pictures for the court which is tomorrow at 8:30 AM.
04/08/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved No one home and the electrical is on. Nothing has been done to clean the property. The alley had been cleaned and now has trash and debris piled by the wash. The vehicles are still in the street and on the property. Still has the tall grass and weeds. Did try and call the owner and no answer. Did call the cousin and she is not staying threre anymore and not talking to the owner. Took pictures for the citation. Will do citation. RV.
01/29/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The supervisor from the Brush and Bulky Jose called on the trash and debris in the rear of the house. Did let Jose know that that was a illegal dump and will go to the site. Arrived and the same pile was the same but has the trash and debris from this address and has been added to the pile. Did call Jose back to let him know that the pile of the clothing is from this address and the owner needs to be charged for the pick up. Did talk to the owner and the family member to go over on the charge. When the charge was being added, did find where the water has not been on since November due to lack of payment. Did let the family member and owner know that if the water can not be paid for and turned back on, that they can not stay in the house. They were given a couple of hours to make arrangements to pay for the water and get it back on and will come back and check on the arrangements. Did have an issue on the RV that is in the alley behind this address and still on site and no change to move since the last inspection. The person living in the RV was asked to leave and lock the door and can come back if to work on moving the vehicles on the area. Has a car that is being worked and again no change since the last inspection. Did place a Do Not Enter on the side window where the door is located on the RV and on the car next to the RV. Will come back and check this afternoon. RV.
01/29/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved While on another call found where the electrical has been removed also for lack of payment. Did take T.E.P. to the site to check if tampered with and it wasn"t. At this time the owner and the family members were advised that they have to leave and they were in the process of leaving. Did check all the windows and doors and they were locked. The owner signed the paperwork and did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front and rear windows by the doors. The electrical needs to be redone due to has a generator and wires have been removed to get power to certain rooms in the house. One of the family members was waiting for a ride and was staying in the rear yard. The gates were being locked. Did go over with the owner that the N.O.V. sent on the other issues still need to be address even being not allowed to stay on the property. Will keep the same follow up date on 2-12-19. RV.
