Arrived and the unit was still on site and was in the process of placing a fan to blow into the house due to the level of CO of 38/Mil. Was at 24/Mil when the gan started. The 16 year old that was on site was transported to the hospital for observation and being checked for his blood. There was no forced entry due to the 16 year old was on site when the unit arrived to the property. The smoke detectors were off and all were operational at the time of the inspection. SWG was called to the site to check the applainces. Risk management was also called to the site due to the injury to the 16 year old and being transported to the hospital. Windows were left opened until SWG was done with checking the applainces. Did find where the stove was giving CO levels when used and was turned off at the gas valve. The wall heater has been turned off at the valve and the thermostat is not connected properly. The owner sent the maintenance personal to check the on what was being done. Did have to have the next door unit opened due to has one gas meter for both units and the applainces need to be checked and turned back on. The maintenace person signed the paperwork on site. The tenant was staying with the daughter and the owner will have to have the applainces checked before the unit is able to be occupied. The maintenance personal was locking the doors and all the windows were closed and locked. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and did let the tenant know that they can only come during the day. The water heater was left on and the cap was missing and was found on the ground. SWG was able to place the cap back on and was able to leave the water heater on. The water heater was for both units of 2805 also. RV. |
