07/12/2019 FRAMING Partial Approval 1) The untreated 4X4 posts are in direct contact with the concrete footings. A minimum 1" stand off is required to prevent rot.

2) The 2X6 joists are spanning too great a distances. A beam should be added mid-span to provide needed support. This will probably require another post at the North end, or possible a hanger will suffice. This beam should be minimum 4X8 sawn lumber.

3) The screws used to anchor the post bases to the post are not approved structural screws. Simpson structural screws or equal will be accepted.
