footings need rebar installed. Also one of the posts that will be for the carport is right in front of the electrical panel and right next to the gas meter. 3 feet required in front of electrical panel (IRC E3405.1) Typically there is also 3 foot of clearance around a gas meter as well. This needs to be addressed before proceeding any further. |
