| 09/26/2018 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Continued | RE: T18OT00899 Site: 5115 N Oracle / Chasse Building Team Reviewer: H.Thrall Date: 9/26/18 The following is email exchange to site owner of Chasse Building Team, explaining this is a freestanding monument sign after they shared further details. It appears to me from what I've seen that you're requesting to have the site evaluated for a new freestanding sign in a "V" configuration where a separate wall is to be built with 45 degrees and less on the inside angle. I will need full attachment details to this wall for your signage and lighting. The printouts on Brian's desk are limited. Let's just start from the beginning and go on the understanding that: A) your location is a premise with it's own lot lines, access to the road and parking and service areas (trash) is all on site - no other tenants share the location B) you're requesting to remove a freestanding sign C) you're requesting to replace that freestanding sign with a new sign in a "V" formation (provide elevation view and construction details, with any electric involved) D) the site plan layer is flashing two diagrams on my screen, one has color SVT's - I do not know if I am seeing all data on the screen as it's giving me errors, and I'm unable to print the imagery. Provide lot line dimensions (assume it's already on this plan, but again, data layers are not working for me, so just check for me please) E) let's assume you're out of the SVT on the wall, and the wall is ON SITE (Oracle is a state route there and nothing is permitted in right of way) and the wall is 20' minimum setback from Oracle face of curb - dimension the actual setback from curb to PL, then to the wall. F) the wall construction is likely going to be separate from the sign, this may help with not needing engineering for surface structure area - depends on sign design, hence the need for elevation view with construction of how signage is going on the wall and any illumination factors. Just email everything back to me and copy PDSD_signpermitsubmittals@tucsonaz.gov and we'll keep in touch very closely. |
