BINGHAM, P.E. **C) IN ADDITION, UNDERSTOOD FREEWAY SIGN MASONRY BASE TO BE MARKED BY JEFF HUNT, P.E. WITH I10 TRAVEL LANE ELEVATION FOR CONSTRUCTION AND ASSEMBLY NO GREATER THAN 48' ABOVE THAT MARK. HE ADVISED ME THAT THE REBAR FROM THE OTHER WALL WAS BENT OVER AND PLACED INT THE NEW LOCATION FOR THE NEW WALL. 2) THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW WALL WAS NOT INSPECTED BY MYSELF OR OTHERS PRIOR TO THE PLACEMENT OF THE GROUT, CANNOT VERIFY IN WHAT CELLS THE REBAR HAS BEEN PLACED AND THE HEIGHT OF THE OVERLAP FOR THE REMAINING PORTIONS OF THE WALL. 3) I HAVE ASKED THAT THE ENGINEER OF RECORD STAMP AND SEAL A LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE FOR ALL OF THE WORK THAT WAS NOT WITNESSED BY THIS DEPARTMENT, PRIOR TO THE PLACEMENT OF THE FINAL LIFT OF THE GROUT FOR THIS SIGN. |
