Arrived on site however unable to make contact because gates were locked made phone contact to find out owner was about 20 minutes away from home and set up a meeting for today. While I waited I inspected the Ellie on both ends to find black top was added at both end of the alley that cupboard approximately two houses into the alley on both ends. Rest of the jelly was dirt. Was able to make contact with a backhoe driver about five blocks down who stated they had been in the area for almost a year now. Also stated they are completely done with digging at this point and cleanup has been going on for about a week. This cleanup will continue until next week with plans for a water truck and a sweeper to cover over the areas they worked in. Gave me the name and phone number to the supervisor in charge. Gave that supervisor a call however negative contact. Homeowner arrived on site and we discussed his issues. Issues of not watering down their work site and a lot of dust being created, construction crew drivers on backhoe and in trucks driving too fast in the neighborhood, and no contact information for the Department that oversaw the construction crew. I gave mr. Noriega the information that was given to me by the construction crew member however let him know that I had still had not made contact with the supervisor and would make sure of time frames as to clean up and street sweepers. Numbers were exchanged and I would give him a call within 48 hours |
