The fire was in the living room fireplace and burned through the roof. The wood framing is all burned that covered the flue and fire box and the metal flue is leaning and stand 2-story up. The sheathing is all burned around the fireplace area and few of the wood trusses have burned. The drywall has burned or been pulled down to check for fire in the attic or on the ceiling on the upper floors and downstairs. The house has smoke damage through out. The electrical and the gas has been removed at the meters due to the damage of the fire. 2-doors were forced opened due to no one was home on the front of the house on the upper area and the bottom floor to a spare room. The doors were screwed shut by the City of Tucson Inspector due to the stricker areas have been damage or missing the wood to catch the stricker from the locks. The electrical and the gas has been removed at the meters due to the damage of the fire. Did do the posting on the front window of Do Not Enter. The owner was not on site during the fire and did show when the fire was put out. The owner signed the paperwork when locking the building. The fireplace was a wood burning type and had wood in the fireplace at the time of the fire. RV.
