Arrived and the units were still on site and did meet with the owner to check the site for hazardous condition on the property. Did meet with the owner and went over on why I was on site and gave permission to check the site and the interior of the house. Did find where a new electrical water heater has been installed and not connected properly and has 110 wiring connected for a 220 connection and has opened wires that have power. The main panel on the exterior of the house has arcing in the panel and has some burning on the bars. Some of the breakers are not set properly and not matching the type panel that is installed and may require replacing with the right brand for the panel. The interior of the house has items through out the house and blocking access to the doors and windows. Does have security bars on the windows and not sure it the breakaways are working correctly. No smoke detectors and no GFCIs and has cords in the sink areas for lighting. The cooler is leaking on the roof and the back porch is leaking where added to the carport. Did talk to the owner that a electrician needs to check the electric and get a permit to have the electrical turned back on a reconnect permit. The electrical was removed by T.E.P. and posted Do Not Enter on the front window. The owner was transported for evaluation and did not sign the paperwork and was posted on the front window. The property was locked by the owner and the front gate was locked once the meter was blanked off. RV. |
