HISTORY SHOWS MULTIPLE TIMES THE BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN BOARDED AND RE BOARDED, THERE IS A FIRE DAMAGED STEEL SHED WHICH MISSING DOORS AND A TORN PANEL IN THE REAR OF THE SHED, TPD IS CONCERNED THIS STRUCTURE CAN HARBOR TRANSIENTS. LAST NIGHT TPD DID MAKE ARREST IN THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY, THE REAR GATE HAS CHAIN LINK FENCING WHICH WAS CUT TO ALLOW ENTRANCE. TPD IS REQUESTING SOMETHING BE DONE ABOUT THE GATE AND SHED.
AT THIS TIME IS PROPERTY HAS BECOME A PUBLIC NUISANCE. FAILURE TO MAINTAIN AND SECURE ALL OF THE BUILDINGS ON THE PROPERTY HAS NOW BECOME AN ATTRACTIVE NUISANCE FOR CHILDREN AND TRANSIENTS TO HARBOR AND COMMIT UNLAWFUL ACTS. THE CURRENT CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY INTERFERES WITH THE COMFORTABLE ENJOYMENT OF LIFE OR PROPERTY BY AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY OR NEIGHBORHOOD.
THE CITY OF TUCSON ACTION WAS AS FOLLOWS: AN ABANDON GATE FROM THE PROPERTY WAS USED TO COVER THE REAR GATE OPENING, WE DID INSTALL FOUR CHAINS AND LOCKS TO PREVENT ACCESS AND WE ALSO DEMOLISHED THE FIRE DAMAGE SHED DUE TO THE CURRENT STATE OF IT BEING AN ATTRACTIVE STRUCTURE TO HARBOR TRANSIENTS.
