No visible outside damage, entered into dwelling where tenants showed me to the kitchen. Fire was because a pot was left on the stove, stove was on the outside back porch area. Dwelling was double brick construction, so wall behind stove was solid no damage just smoke walls and ceiling in the kitchen. Outlet to stove did not show any damage, even faceplate was intack and did Not melt, however outlet was still shut along with gas valve to stove all by TFD. No damge to any contents in kitchen other than the pot and stove. Called supv. and gave case info at this time no paperwork is needed as no damage to structure, just stove. Relayed info to maint man ( Raymond ) and tenants. Tenants will be out tonight per them as the smoke is bothering them and will be back tomorrow along with maint man to clean up. Will move to close out this case |
