10/10/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The wall is still being supported and nothing done since the last inspection. The are in the process of getting bids to remove and replace the wall and the prices are to high and don't have the money. Did go over that the wall can be removed and the City of Tucson is OK with that. If the wall is replaced with new, than the permit is required. Did talk about the wall not needing to replaced now and could be replaced at a later time. Did talk to the president of the H.O.A. Did talk to the neighbor to let him know what was discussed and did not agree. Will check in 14 days. RV.
08/21/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner on site and the tree has been cut and removed from the rear yard. The stump is in the front yard was to heavy to place in my truck to haul off the site. The owner will call the tree cutter back to get the stump. The wall between neighbors is still not secured and still to the tmporary braces for support. The are getting bids and went over that the wall is a wood frame with stucco. RV.
07/31/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with both neighbors on lot 43 and 44. Unable to remove the tree stump and wall. Had the wall secured by Boardup Contractor. Owner has obtained a contractor to remove the stump and wall on 7/31/18. Arborist reviewed tree that is causing damage to the house and the sidewalk, water and sewer line to the adjacent property. This tree was removed.
07/24/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Received call from the neighbors and that the wall has raised more. Did meet with the owner and the tree has fallen more and has lifted the wall higher and the roof has more damaged and lifting the sheathing on the roof. The owners have made a deal and the landscaper will be back on Friday to have the tree cut and the wall removed. The tree is closer to the owners house. Did call the insurance and will not be getting assistance on the damage. Did call the neighbor to let her know what was told by the owners. RV.
07/23/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Came back to the site to meet with the contractor. The contractor is clearing the neighboring property to clear the branches and limbs that are over the wall. The contractor will wait till the owner get money to finish the other cutting of the wall and the tree. RV.
