Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the unit was still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigator has just arrived to check for cause of the fire. The fire was on the exterior of the house on the west side in a metal storage room. The storage is a total lost and has a trash pile. The area that burned in s fenced area. The fire did not enter the interior of the house but does have the smell of smoke when the doors were opened. The exterior fly rafter and the barge rafter have been charred in the area of the storage room and not other damage to the rest of the house. The owner will be able to remain in the house at this time. The gas and the electrical have been left on. The owner did sign the paperwork. Did go over that if the storage room goes back up that the permit will be required. Did go over that if the wood remains, that a permit will not be required. If replaced, that the permit will be required. RV. |
