Arrived and all the units have left the site and the fire investigator was still on site. The fire was in the rear of the unit and was in a wood frame storage room. The wood siding was damaged and the items in the storage room was burned. There was a water heater and has signs of being burned and has smoke damage and will need to be checked if the water heater can remain on site. The gas meter was pinned due to lack of payment and now will need to be tested before turned back on. The electrical meter was booted and will need a clearance before turned back on. The interior of the house has no fire damage and has the smell of smoke when the rear door was opened to check the fire and to fight the fire. The owner was not able to make contact with and the tenant signed the paperwork and took the copies. The tenant secured the house and left the site. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. The tenants have a place to stay. Did go over that the electrical will need to be checked by an electrician and a permit for the reconnect will have to be approved before turned back on. RV. |
