TPD ARRESTED THE PROPERTY OWNER FOR INTERFERING WITH A COURT ORDER.
TPD ALSO CONTACTED PIMA ANIMAL CONTROL TO REMOVE 7 DOGS. TPD THEN CONTACTED TEP TO EVALUATE THE SERVICE DROP. THE DROP WAS HANGING APPROX 7 FEET FROM THE GROUND AND BEING PULLED DOWN BY THE PROPERTY INTERIOR TREES. ALSO A COLLAPSED ANTENNA WAS LEANING ON THE CONDUCTOR KNOBS. TEP DEEMED THE SERVICE DANGEROUS AND CUT POWER AT THE POLE, CAPPED THE METER. TEP TRUCK 5301 ON SITE.
TPD CLEARED THE HOUSE TO MAKE SURE NO OTHER OCCUPANTS WERE INSIDE. POSTED FRONT AND REAR OF STRUCTURE WITH ORDER TO VACATE AND DO NOT ENTER PLACARDS.
PHOTOS TAKEN OF THE INTERIOR. NO ACCESS TO ANY EXITS EXCEPT FOR THE SIDE DOOR. DEBRIS AND ANIMALS WASTE THROUGHOUT THE UNIT. DEBRIS STACKED APPROX 2 FEET IN VERY NARROW WALKWAY. DEBRIS STACKED HIGHER AND TO THE CEILING IN MOST OTHER AREAS THROUGHOUT THE UNIT.
CEILING IS SEVERLY DETERIORATED WITH PARTIAL COLLAPSE AT THE NORTH PORTION OF THE STRUCTURE. EXPOSED ELECTRICAL THROUGHOUT THE UNIT. EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF SPIDERS AND WEBS THROUGHOUT THE UNIT.
EXTERIOR OF UNIT IS SEVERLY DETERIORATED. AREAS OF WALL ARE HEAVILY CRACKED. FRONT PORCH IS SEVERLY DETERIORATED AND HAS SEPERATED FROM THE WALL.
PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE CONNECT POWER.
PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR INTERIOR ELECTRICAL REPAIR AND FOR STURCTURAL REPAIR OF THE ROOR SYSTEM.
06/27/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved CLEAN UP CREW ON SITE TO ABATE VIOLATIONS, VEHICLE IS PARKED BLOCKING THE ENTRY GATE. CONTACTED OWNER BY PHONE NO ANSWER, KNOCKED FOR LONG PERIODS AT THE PERIMETER FENCE PANELS TO ENSURE DOGS HAVE BEEN SECURED. AFTER APPROX 15 MINUTES OF KNOCK AT DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE FENCE CITY INSPECTOR OPENED NORTH WEST CORNER GATE THAT HAD NO LOCKING DEVICE GAINED ENTRY TOOK PHOTOS OF THE DEBRIS ON THE PROPERTY. CONFIRMED DOGS ARE BEHIND A FENCE OF THE REAR PROPERTY. CREW WAS INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE ALL DEBRIS OF NON MONETARY VALUE. INSPECTOR REQUESTED PERMISSION FROM ABUTTING NEIGHBOR SOUTH OF THIS PROPERTY TO DRIVE CITY VEHICLE ON THE PROPERTY TO DOUBLE CHECK IF THERE IS A SIDE GATE TO PREVENT DOGS TO ESCAPE REAR YARD IF THE SECOND SOUTH WEST GATE IS OPENED TO ALLOW CREW TO REMOVE DEBRIS FROM THAT SECTION. CONFIRMED SOUTH GATE THAT CONTAINS DOGS TO REMAIN AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY. AS INSPECTOR WAS DRIVING VEHICLE OUT OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY, PROPERTY OWNER WAS EXITING THE SOUTH WESTERN GATE, HE WAS SHAKING HIS FACE HAD A RED COLOR AS HE WAS LOCKING THE GATE HE HAD EXITED, CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTOR APPROACHED THE OWNER ADVISING HIM OUR PRESENCE AND TO LEAVE THE GATE UNLOCK FOR THE COURT ORDER ABATEMENT GRANTED FROM THE CITY COURTS. HE IGNORED THE REQUEST BEGAN TO SHOUT AT THE CREW WORKERS TO NOT TO TOUCH HIS BELONGINGS AND RACED TO THE REAR LOADER, REMOVED A CHAIR FROM THE HOPPER AND THREW THE CHAIR WITH GREAT ANGER HITTING A CREW WORKER. CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTOR CONFRONTED PROPERTY OWNER TO NOT TO TOUCH OR RAISE HIS HAND AT ANY EMPLOYEE ON SITE, WHILE THE INSPECTOR WAS ON THE PHONE WITH 911. THE OWNER WAS YELLING AND CHARGING AT THE OTHER CREW WORKERS ON SITE ANOTHER CREW SUPERVISOR APPROACH THE RAGED OWNER AS A BARRIER TO KEEP OWNER AWAY FROM THE CREW. THE CREW WORKERS RELOCATED ACROSS THE STREET NEAR THE SERVICE VEHICLES AS A BARRIER. POLICE ARRIVED ON THE SCENE AND KEPT THE PEACE WITH THE OWNER. TUCSON FIRE ARRIVED TO EVALUATE THE CREW WORKER THAT WAS STRUCKED BY THE CHAIR THE OWNER HAD THROWN. TWO SERGEANTS THAT OVER SEE THE CREW WORKERS ARRIVED ON THE SCENE AND TRANSPORTED THE WORKER TO HAVE THEIR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS EVULATE THE WORKER AS A SECONDARY PRECAUTION. CITY MANAGERS OFFICE WAS CONTACTED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER AND WAS GIVEN ANOTHER 30 DAYS TO REMOVE ALL DEBRIS FROM THE PROPERTY. PROPERTY OWNER MET WITH CODE ENFORCEMENT DIVISION AND SIGNED A DOCUMENT REGARDING THE 30 DAY FINAL EXTENSION. OWNER IS AWARE TO REMOVE FALLEN UNSECURED ANTENNA RESTING NEAR THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE DROP AT THE MAIN DISCONNECT PANEL. THIS IS TO INCLUDE TO TRIM BACK THE VEGETATION SURROUNDING THE SAME ENERGIZED SERVICE DROP. DUE TO THE FIRE LOAD OF THE DRY VEGETATION AND DEBRIS ON THE PROPERTY, THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED A LIFE SAFTEY ISSUE TO THE PROPERTY OWNER AND THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORS. 06/26/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved 09:56 AM PROPERTY OWNER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED REGARDING THAT THE CITY OF TUCSON WILL BE EXERCISING THE COURT ORDER ABATEMENT TOMORROW 6/27/2019 AT 7:30AM TO ABATE ALL REMAINING VIOLATIONS, AND TO PLEASE TAKE APPROPRIATE MEASURES WITH HIS PROTECTIVE DOGS. OWNER STATED HE WILL BE CONTACTING CODE ENFORCEMENT SUPERVISION.

OWNER STATED 3 LARGE UNFRIENDLY DOGS WILL BE ON THE PROPERTY TO PROTECT THE PROPERTY, CODE ENFORCEMENT HAS EXPLAINED TO PROPERTY OWNER DEPARTMENT WILL NOTIFY OWNER TO SECURE ANY ANIMALS, IF UNCOOPERATIVE PIMA COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL WILL BE ASKED TO ASSIST DURING ABATEMENT. AFTER APRIL 15 2019 THE DEPARTMENT WILL VERIFY IF COURT ABATEMENT IS NEEDED TO BE SCHEDULED.
