THE BUILDING HAS AN AREA WITH NO ROOF ESTIMATED AT 20 FEET BY 45 FEET WHICH COULD ONLY BE SEEING BY ENTERING INSIDE THE BUILDING. THE ADOBE WALLS HAVE SEVERE AND DEEP CRACKS. THE REAR ATTACHED PORTION OF THE BUILDING HAS ROOF RAFTERS CRACKS FROM THE FIRE DAMAGE ALONG WITH A SECTION OF WALL WITH FIRE DAMAGED WALL STUDS. THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING HAS AN ATTACHED ROOF PROJECTION WITH TWO BRICK COLUMNS WITH A WOOD FRAME ROOF SYSTEM (CANOPY). THE CANOPY IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. AND IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE CITY OF TUCSON SIDE WALK. THE CANOPY HAS SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE ROOF RAFTERS, BEAMS AND ROOF SHEATHING. THERE ARE DEEP CRACK IN THE WOOD MEMBERS. THE CITY OF TUCSON IS CONCERNED WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THE ROOF ASSEMBLY COLLAPSING. THE MAIN DISCONNECT WAS ENERGIZED WITH ONE CIRCUIT TURNED ON, THIS CIRCUIT HAS AN ELECTRIC METALLIC TUBE CONDUIT WITH LOOSE AND DISCONNECTED CONNECTORS / FITTINGS. THE END OF THE RUN WAS ENERGIZED CONDUCTORS RESTING ON THE CHAIN LINK FENCE. THERE IS A JUNCTION BOX FASTENED TO THE CHAIN LINK FENCE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THE CHAIN LINK FENCE BECOMING ENERGIZED. THE GROUNDS HAVE VEGETATION'S EXCEEDING CODE HIGH AND PILES OF REFUSE. THERE IS A SMALL TRAVEL TRAILER WITH THE DOOR UNSECURED, CITY OF TUCSON 2012 CASE T12DV00135 HAS NOTES WITH THE TRAVEL TRAILER BE OCCUPIED BY TRANSIENTS. THE BUILDING IS CURRENTLY BEING USED BY TRANSIENTS. TWO MALES TRANSIENTS WERE ORDERED AND ESCORTED OFF THE PROPERTY. ITEMS FOUNDS INSIDE THE BUILDING WERE FOOD CONTAINERS, FRUIT, CLOTHING AND A BUCKET WITH A SEAT INSIDE BEING USED FOR DEFECATING. THE BUCKET HAS LARGE AMOUNTS OF FECES. TUCSON POLICE HAS BEEN CALL OUT DUE TO TRANSIENTS COMPLAINTS FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE BUILDING HAS A PERIMETER CHAIN LINK FENCE SURROUNDING THE REAR AND SIDE PORTIONS OF THE BUILDING WITH EXCEPTION TO THE FACE OF THE BUILDING AND THE CANOPY. THE BUILDING DOES HAVE BROADS IN THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS EXCEPT FOR THE REAR OPENING. THE BUILDING WAS SECURED BY BOARDING THE REAR OPENING AND FENCING THE AREA WITH DAMAGED ATTACHED CANOPY. THE CITY OF TUCSON HAD TO CHAIN AND LOCK THE SIDE GATE TO PREVENT ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY AND BUILDING. THE DOOR TO THE TRAVEL TRAILER WAS PINNED SHUT. THE POWER WAS DISCONNECT BY TEP, METER AND SERVICE DROP WERE REMOVED. THIS PROPERTY IS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO RESIDENTIAL HOMES AND A BUS STOP. THERE IS A LOT OF FOOT TRAFFIC IN FRONT AND SIDE OF THIS PROPERTY. THE BUILDING IS ON A MAIN CITY STREET W CONGRESS.THE PROPERTY IS A PUBLIC NUISANCE. FAILURE TO MAINTAIN AND SECURE THE BUILDING AND THE PERIMETER FENCE ON THE PROPERTY HAS NOW MADE THIS PROPERTY AN ATTRACTIVE NUISANCE FOR CHILDREN AND TRANSIENTS TO HARBOR AND COMMIT UNLAWFUL ACTS. THE CURRENT CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY INTERFERES WITH THE COMFORTABLE ENJOYMENT OF LIFE OR PROPERTY BY AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY OR NEIGHBORHOOD. THE CITY OF TUCSON WILL SEND TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION REQUIRING THE OWNER OR RESPONSIBLE PARTY ABATE THE VIOLATIONS AND REPAIR OR DEMOLISH THE BUILDING. |
