05/23/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved T.P.D. called that they are on site with work being done and don't think they have a permit. Arrived and the units still on site and work is being done on unit #1. Walls have been remove and some of the drywall has been removed to get to the plumbing and the electrical. One of the windows has been removed and made smaller on the opening and is in a bedroom. Does have another window in the same room and that is a casement and not the proper size opening for a bedroom. Did let the worker know that a permit is required for the work being done and will need to stop at this time. The owner did show to the property and went over the permits that are being required to continue work on the site. Did let the owner know that the electrical upgrade permit has been issued and should install the new panel. The persons working are getting power from next door next door on extension cords and is more the one cords. Did go over that the extension cords can not be used getting power from another unit and should install the new upgrade to get power for his own property. Did serve the N.O.V. to the owner for work with out permits and posted a Stop Work Order on the front window of unit #1. Does have other units on the property and will need the same permit for the other units and should be included on the same permit or plans. The owner signed the paperwork and was going to have the property secured once the tools have been picked up. RV.
