Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and cleaning up. The fire investigators on site and checking for cause. The fire was in the living room area where a AC window unit burned. The unit has heavy smoke damage through out. Has 2- broken windows that were broken already before the fire. Has one window not able to lock. Did talk to the son of the owner and he lives in Phoenix, Az. Not able to make to Tucson to check the damage. The tenant has been taken to the hospital for evaluation. The main structure is OK. Has holes in the drywall to check for fire in the walls and ceilings. The son gave permission to have the property secured. The gas and the electrical was removed at the meters due to the fire damage. The gas lines are having issues of holding pressure in the lines. The gas meters for the other units have been also turned off due to not hold pressure in the gas lines. Did call the son to let him know of the gas being turned off. Due to the owner not able to make it to town, the paperwork will be posted on the front window. Did post a Do Not Enter on the front window and has advised the son of the owner that the tenant needs to let the owner know that she is on the property or the owner has to let her into the unit to get items out of the unit. The mother of the tenant did come to the site to look for cats and were not able to find the cats. The mother of the tenant was also advised that her daughter needs to call the owner in order to get back into the house. Called Arcaiden Industries to the property to have the property secured. RV. |
