Date Description Inspector Results Comments
05/10/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Had a fire in unit #2 and got into the attic. The trusses in this unit have heavy smoke damage with some burning closer to unit #2. The drywall ceiling was pulled down to check the extension of the fire in the attic in the rear bedroom and a hole in the front bedroom. The interior of the house has no fire damage and stayed in the attic space. A vent hole was cut in the rear bedroom area on the roof. The electrical and gas was removed at the meters. The main electrical service panel is on the west wall of the burned unit and the wiring is in the attic area and will need to be checked before turned back on for heat damage or fire damage. The unit has water damage on the walls and ceiling with puddling on the floor. Northwest Pest Control call the contractor to have the unit extracted of the water. The contractor was also going to secure the unit once the work was done on the trash and debris and the extraction was completed. The owners were on site and the daughter signed the paperwork. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows. The tenants were placed by Northwest Pest Control for a few day until they figure out what needs to be done. RV.
