Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators on site checking for cause. Northwest Pest Control was doing a treatment for bee's and had a flash over in the area of the water heater. The fire got into the attic and spread through out and burned some of the trusses. The fire carried over to the other unit and has heavy smoke damage where not burned in the attic. Vent holes were cut on the roof in a few spots and the fire burned through the sheating by the rear bedroom. The drywall ceilings were pulled down through out to check for the fire in the attic area. The fire did not get into the interior of the house. The electrical and the gas were removed at the meters. The fire started in the laundry room area and was on the exterior by the water heater. The wood siding was damage on the exterior of the laundry room. The interior of the laundry room only has some smoke damage. The owners were on site and the daughter signed the paperwork. The tenants were placed in a hotel by Northwest Pest Control for a few day until things are worked out. Northwest Pest Control called a contractor to have the property secured and the area cleaned up and do the extraction to the unit. The unit was going to be secured once the work was completed. RV. |
